Main Target Groups

Mama Ni Mama is committed to empowering and uplifting women, particularly those who face social, economic, and cultural challenges. Our programs focus on key target groups that require advocacy, support, and mentorship to overcome barriers and build sustainable futures. We primarily serve women seeking representation and empowerment, ensuring that their voices are heard in decision-making spaces. Survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) are another critical focus, as we provide safe spaces, legal aid, and economic opportunities to help them rebuild their lives. Additionally, we work closely with widows, many of whom face economic hardship and social stigma, by offering business training, legal protection, and psychosocial support. Beyond advocacy, young women and girls benefit from our mentorship programs, where they receive guidance in leadership, education, and vocational skills, equipping them for a future of self-reliance. Through these efforts, Mama Ni Mama continues to drive lasting change, ensuring that women in Nyakach and beyond can thrive with dignity and independence.
